2001 PBA Commissioner's Cup
The 2001 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) PBA Commissioner's Cup, is the second conference of the 2001 PBA season. It opened on June 2 with a scheduled road game in Bataan featuring Alaska Aces and Batang Red Bull, and a pair of games the following day at the Araneta Coliseum. It ended in a historic night on August 24 as the Batang Red Bull Thunder made history by winning their first PBA championship in only their second year of participation in the league.
